Who We Are

The Mustang Sword Club specializes in recreational fencing for the London and area communities and acts as the off-campus training site for the University of Western Ontario’s varsity fencing team. We invite individuals, friends, and families of all cultures and identities to come give the sport of fencing a try. Members range from 10 years of age and up with group and individual lessons in foil, sabre, and epee.

Our coaching staff is lead by Brad Winder who is certified in all three weapons and a Prevost sabre coach. Coaches and team leaders from the University of Western Ontario Varsity Women’s and Men’s Fencing Teams are on hand to train and mentor the MSC fencers.

We are located at 85 Charles Street, London ON. and hold practices on Wednesday and Friday evenings.

We are affiliated with the Ontario Fencing Association and the Canadian Fencing Federation which are our provincial and national sports governing bodies.  All staff and club members are registered with the OFA and benefit from the programs offered.
